Easter Bunnies

I havent written in awhile and I sincerely apologize. My life has been a bit hectic, more or less a cliche and sugar coated way to say -busy-.

Easter was an interesting display of colors.. I started off by buying my bi-weekly bouquet of flowers, which happened to have an easter butterfly attached to them to make it festive. Then I cleaned the house up -almost- from head to toe, simply so that we could have an enjoyable afternoon with my cousin Angela and her daughter Cassy. As well as an old friend from Cogeco, - Derek Risk?- I think thats how you spell it... None-the-less it had its ups and downs as usual..

-NOT- that I'm complaining.. Normally on holidays I'm hoping that there isn't any deaths in the family, god knows if we all sat down at the table for a turkey dinner we'd rip eachother's heads off. Which just goes to show the general closeness in which our family cherishes in these special occations.. -hense why our photoalbum collections STOPPED at the well age when I hit.. what.. 5?-

ANYWAYS. After I collected some rather cutsie photographs of my cousin hunting for easter eggs.. - A yearly tradition that my mother whipped up every year for me, but I'm diabetic, and 20.. WAY too old for that- so she found a way to pass it onto Angela's daughter.. Which I have to say. is -fine-.. Definately fine.

So after the egg hunt - I'll have photographs dont worry! Is she adorable- I made a turkey, which was supposed to be cooked on Saturday ( BTW this occured on Friday ) but my grandmother insisted her turkey be cooked on the only day I'd had off, so.. Alas I had to strain myself, stay up all day, and make.. -a turkey-.

I invited my father, Anthony and Corey down ( Two brothers for those of you who really dont know my family very well ) and when dinner was interestingly finished ( Which means its the first time I've done a turkey.. and to my surprise the people who sold the turkey to me didn't snap off the neck so I had a hell of a time trying to stuff it... ) I ended up crying because my father was picking on me still not completing my schooling.. -what a surprise-

Needless to say it was an interesting evening..

As for today? Its my birthday.. So far the first card I have received came from Billy's parents.. Who have a tight, close, and loving relationship with family members.. What can I say, opposites must attract.. Whilest I've found out that my step mother has gone crazy, wont let my little brother see his Father because of this stupid divorce, called the cops on my grandmother for calling her a whore in the middle of the yard. And all I can say to this is?

Well I'm going to the movies this afternoon to see -Take the Lead- so.. obviously none of this surprises or really bothers me at this time..

However on a more interesting note, I applied to go to work at Tim Hortons for 6 months in Afghanistan.. Having a phone interview today and hopefully I pass! Wish me luck!

Sincerely,
Kendra-Dawn
